SHORT ANSWERS THAT LEAD SOMEWHERE USEFUL
Live clips
A clip is one answer lifted out of an episode — short enough to recognise your own question in, and always carrying the route back to the whole of it.

Clips come out of episodes, so the first ones arrive with the first broadcast. Nothing is cut for this page on its own, because a clip with no episode behind it is an assertion with nothing to check it against.
The rules a clip is held to
- One idea, onceA clip covers a single question, a single myth or a single next step. Two ideas in sixty seconds is how a parent ends up remembering neither.
- Never an absoluteA short clip cannot turn a legal, clinical or safeguarding point into a flat rule. Where the honest answer is that it depends, the clip says what it depends on.
- A way back to the whole answerEvery clip carries a route to the episode, its transcript and the check that does the same job. A clip is a door, not a destination.
- Readable with the sound offCaptions, on-screen text that is actually legible, and plain language as standard.
- A parent’s story stays theirsWhere a family appears in a clip, permission covers that specific use. Agreeing to be helped is not agreeing to be shown.
